Overview
What the Cuddler Platform API does, how access and billing work, and where to start.
The Cuddler Platform API lets your own tools and pipelines generate videos with Seedance models: Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.0, with Seedance 2.0 mini coming soon. It is a plain JSON API over HTTPS, built for teams that produce video at volume.
What you can do
- Text to video: describe the shot and get a clip with native audio.
- First and last frames: start from an image (and optionally end on one), and let the model animate between them.
- References: steer a clip with reference images, videos and audio you upload.
- Choose the output: 4 to 30 seconds (Seedance 2.5) or 4 to 15 seconds (Seedance 2.0), 480p to 1080p, and six aspect ratios.

How it works
- Your organization owns API keys and a prepaid USD balance. Keys belong to the organization, not to a person.
- You create a video job with
POST /v1/videos. The API checks the request, holds the estimated price from your balance and queues the job. - The job runs on the model. You poll
GET /v1/videos/{id}or receive a signed webhook when it finishes. - You download the file from a signed link. Finished videos are kept for 7 days.
- You pay for what finished: the charge uses the token count the model reports. Failed, blocked and canceled jobs cost nothing, and the hold is released.

Getting access
Access is by application. Apply for access with your company details and use case; a person reviews every application and we reply within one business day. Approved organizations receive an API key and a small trial credit. After that you top up your balance by invoice (Pricing and billing).
