Acceptable Use Policy

Version 2026-10-01

This policy is part of the API Terms between HAKKO AI PTE. LTD. ("Cuddler", "we") and your organization. It applies to everything you send to the API (Inputs) and everything it returns (Outputs), and to everyone who uses your organization's keys.

1. Prohibited content

You may not use the API to create, attempt to create or distribute:

  1. Content involving minors in any sexual or sexualized way, real or fictional, of any kind. This includes content that sexualizes people who appear to be minors. Such material may be reported to the authorities.
  2. Sexually explicit content. The API is operated with standard moderation only.
  3. Depictions of real people without the rights to do so: any real, identifiable person (including public figures and politicians) without their permission and your right to use their likeness; deepfakes; impersonation; false endorsements; content that places real people in fabricated events.
  4. Infringing content: material that infringes copyright, trademark or other rights, including recognizable characters, logos or scenes from works you do not hold the rights to. Do not name existing works or characters in prompts.
  5. Violent or hateful content: content that promotes or glorifies violence, terrorism or violent extremism; content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or similar characteristics; threats and harassment.
  6. Self-harm: content that encourages or instructs suicide, self-harm or eating disorders.
  7. Illegal activity: content that facilitates crime, including weapons, drugs, human trafficking or exploitation.
  8. Deceptive content: media designed to mislead people about real events or people (for example fabricated news or evidence presented as real), fraud, scams, phishing and election manipulation.

2. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  1. try to evade, disable or test the limits of our moderation or a model provider's safety systems, for example by obfuscating prompts or splitting a prohibited request across several jobs;
  2. resell, sublicense or pass access to the API through to third parties, or let third parties submit their own prompts or files through your integration, unless we have agreed to it in writing;
  3. share API keys outside your organization, or use another organization's keys;
  4. exceed or work around your rate, queue or spending limits, for example by creating several organizations;
  5. interfere with the API, its security or other customers, or send malicious files or code;
  6. use the API or its Outputs to develop a competing model or API;
  7. use the API in breach of applicable law, including export control and sanctions law.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Make sure you have every right and permission needed for your Inputs, including people's consent where their likeness or voice is involved.
  • Keep keys secure and make sure everyone who uses them follows this policy.
  • Where the law or a distribution platform requires it, disclose that Outputs are AI-generated.

4. How we enforce this policy

  • Prompts and uploaded images are checked automatically, and model providers apply their own checks. Refused requests are not charged.
  • To investigate abuse and to cooperate with model providers and the authorities where required, we keep the prompt and metadata of every job for 180 days after it finishes, and the job record (organization, key, request id, upload fingerprints and provider task id) for as long as your organization is active.
  • If we find or suspect a violation, we may refuse requests, revoke keys, suspend or close your organization, remove Outputs and report illegal content to the authorities. For serious or repeated violations we may act without notice.

5. Reporting

Report misuse of the API or of videos made with it to [email protected].

We may update this policy under the change rules in the API Terms. The English version is the binding one.
